Reflection of partners design.

This week i was asked to time myself whilst creating my partners look. Here are some photographs:

I feel my first practice of this look went well. I followed my partner’s instructions well. My timing was over though.  I struggled in getting the purple lines the same shade, size and shape, and feel this is something I will be practising before my timed assessments. Also looking back at the photos I definitely think everything needs to be heavier to show up on photographs more. As the lips were much darker than what they are showing. Same with the cheeks and contour, which you can hardly see in the photos. So for my assessments I will make sure everything is a bit more extreme. I like the base and feel I got a good even coverage. I was asked for it not too be too thick and feel I did this correct. I am worried that if my partner decides to add string or wool to the eyebrows how much time I will have to do this, but I will make sure we meet and practice this and make sure I can complete it within the time. Also after looking back I need to make sure I get right down to the root on the lashes with the white. I feel this is a good contemporary design of a traditional Elizabethan look as it has aspects of Elizabethan, e.g. white pale skin, and is showing it in other ways like symbolism though colour choices.
So for my final timed assessments I will make sure to keep practising this look on myself and timing it and then practise on my partner too. I defiantly felt added pressure due to the time limit that was there and felt myself rushing almost and must remember not to do this on the day, just to get on with the look calmly.
